This coffee is grown less than 10km from the nearby town of Chelelektu. The washing station, called

Kochere Mill, was established in 2008 and has 30 permanent and 350 temporary staff members during peak harvest.

Average rainfall is between 1170-1400 mL. The word Kore means ‘poisonous tree’ in the local language Gedefa.
